Lee Drester Wilson was a trailblazer for education. An educator herself, she thought it was important for every child to have access to quality education. Do Mo’ Foundation believes that all young people deserve the opportunity to have access to post-secondary education. That is why the Lee Drester Wilson Memorial Scholarship was established. This one-time $1,000 scholarship is awarded to one recipient each year who has demonstrated academic achievement, personal integrity, and service to his or her community. 

 

Who’s eligible for this scholarship?

  • Graduating high school senior

  • 3.3 GPA or higher and planning to enroll in an accredited post-secondary college or university (Provide copy of enrollment & high school transcripts)

  • Must have demonstrated academic success and community involvement

  • Essay describing your educational journey and how these experiences have shaped your past and future goals.

  • Closes March 31, 2025
